There is a great churning happening with the Indian Muslim community. Delhi assembly elections once again gave us a chance to grasp those changes. If we fail to take note, it will be one more missed opportunity for Indian Muslims and for all Indians.

Education is never ideologically neutral and debates over the communalization of education are not new in India. For instance, from 1998 – 2000, the national government was led by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), a coalition government, led by the Hindu right-wing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Muslims need the fulfillment of their constitutional rights for which the Republic of India was created. Muslims cannot accept a State worse than the colonial masters as they were not so cruel, dishonest and violent against their subjects. The citizens are not hosts to welcome a government but to watch it and to criticize it if it goes beyond the statutory rim.

You have sought out the services of the Pathan Brothers (cricketers) to ‘impress’ Muslims. Most recently, you had Salman and Salim Khan endorse you.
