A Conversation with Artist, Max Levi Frieder

Max Levi Frieder is a graduate student in the Art & Art Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University. Max is an international community-based public artist and the founder of Artolution: an international community-based public arts network that taps into the power of participatory and collaborative art making for creative empowerment. He is just back from India where he worked on a series of projects in Okhla, New Delhi.

Bio:
Mary Ann Chacko is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her dissertation examines the Student Police Cadet program implemented in government schools across Kerala, India with a focus on adolescent citizenship and school-community relations.
